Jan 2nd 15:00 (the first stage)

The musical by the third SailorMoon has begun. Can we call it the 3rd Stage?
I have secretly feared that it is quiet in front of the Sunshine theater as the beginning of the 2nd stage in the summer of 1998. But it is noisy as usual (or more) in front of the theater like the Sunshine City of today.
The reason should be not only that it is in the memorial term of the 500th performance but also that everyone thought the third SailorMoon introduced in the fan thanks event in November was hopeful.

I paid my first visit to shrine of the year at Hikawa shrine in Motoazabu in the morning as every New Year, and arrived the theater 30 minutes before the performance begins. The theater was already open, and there were lines of people waiting to enter the theater. The goods counter was so crowded that little children couldn't see the goods.
I intended to choose goods after putting my baggage on my seat. But I was disappointed to find that we couldn't enter the auditorium though we could enter the theater. Because of that, the small lobby was very crowded. I wondered if it was a mistake or planned. It seemed troublesome.
I bought a set of 2 CDs - "Memorial Album of The Musical 8" which contained the numbers of this musical and "Best Songs Collection" which has been notified in the fan thanks event - (6090yen) and a set of the pamphlet and the official guide videotape (3500yen).
Though there were so many people that I couldn't see other goods well, there were stationery (celluloid boards, notebooks and so on), mascot straps, 500th memorial medals, handkerchiefs printed with Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon, plastic cups, lunch boxes, sets of chopsticks and a chopstick case, desk calendars printed with pictures of Anime and photos of the cast, minicollection dolls (Eternal Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon, 4 inner senshi sets, 4 outer senshi sets, dress sets for the dolls) and so on.
Votive tablets with monochromatic picture of Anime were also sold after a long time like the New Year. Oh God! I should not have paid my first visit to shrine of the year today but after watching the musical. If so, I could dedicate that votive tablet. (I'm sure that we can see lots of that votive tablets hung at Hikawa shrine after tomorrow.) That votive tablet was 300yen, and it had a instant lottery in which you could win a watch with a photo of the cast.

"Memorial Album of The Musical 8" includes lots of rerecorded numbers because this musicl is based on the musical of "Sailor Moon S". But the theme song of this musical "FIRE" is really rhythmical and nice. KOSAKA Akiko makes nice numbers every time.
In "Best Songs Collection", KASAHARA Ryuji and MOCHIZUKI Yuta act as M.C. and introduce each number. The M.C. is must-listen. The official guide videotape includes the scene of the recording of the M.C.

The pamphlet includes two new illustrations of TAKEUCHI Naoko and messages of congratulations from former casts as 500th memorial. All of former casts including the cast of 1st stage and performers who appeared only once give messsages. I feel nostalgia. Of course, the pamphlet includes annual New Year's greeting cards from the current cast.
Other stories which catch my eye in the pamphlet are the notice of the summer musical and that of the audition. They are looking for the performers who play Chibiusa and Sailor Saturn, of course (People have said that GUNZI Ayano (as Chibiusa) and MITA Mao (as Sailor Saturn) hand over their roles to new faces after this musical). And they are also looking for the performers who play Amazoness Quartet!! When "Sailor Moon Supers" was broadcast, Amazoness Quartet was ignored in the musical. But they appear in the next summer musical! This is a good news and hopeful.
I wonder if they end as the villains as in Anime or they are new 4 daemons who protect Sailor Chibi Moon as in Manga.

Oh, is it too early to talk about the summer musical before the report on the winter musical ends? But this musical ends in a form of "To be continued" though it comes to a settlement by and large, and the subhead includes the word of "Overture", so the summer musical may not be a mere revised edition of the winter musical but a sequel to it. I think those who are thinking of watching performances in the provinces of the summer musical and give up watching the winter musical may regret later.

It has become prolegomenous. The performance is nothing but exciting. I felt excited and wanted to watch once more soon after I saw the performance. It had been a long time since I had felt such excited after watching the Sailor Moon musical.
The story contains various elements, and speculation of each villain is complicated. So there may be scenes hard to understand. But KANBE Miyuki (as Sailor Moon) performs very smoothly! She plays the most natural "Usagi". She is very rhythmical and she zips. So the complicated story is not garrulous nor boring.

Chimes before the curtain rises are the theme song of this musical "FIRE". Warnings before performance are announced by Usagi. I feel a little shrill voice of Miyuki is a little offensive to the ear. But it might be because of the acoustics.
For a while after the curtain rises, KANBE Miyuki, EDO Hidemasa (as Tuxedo Mask) and other actors seem to be in bad condition because of tension of the first stage. But they gradually relax, and perform very smoothly at act2. Miyuki's voice isn't a wheedling one (characteristic of her?) like in the fan thanks event or in the official guide videotape though we have worried about it. she says her lines clearly.
The curtain rises, and it is Usagi's bedroom. I am deeply impressed by Usagi's room which we have seen only in Anime events being reproduced on the stage, though the bed is like a comic for girls.
Usagi's gaggy lines out to lunch crump one after another. Miyuki lip-syncs in some scenes of her solo. But she seems to have very good rhythm. She sings rhythmical songs and dances rhythmical dances really rhythmically. I am likely to forget that this is her first stage.

Using the songs, the episodes and the themes of the musical "SailorMoon S", this musical includes the lines in "SailorMoon Supers" - "Yumeyume utagau koto nakare, yumemiru kodomo no yume no yume. (Never doubt dreams of dreaming children's dreams.)" and so on. The story is based on "SailorMoon S" and "SailorMoon Supers". In addition, Undead Corps led by Professor Tomoe and feelings of the Count of Dracula on his wife and his daughter are mentioned in it. It is a new story with the villains' deep views of the world.
MOCHIZUKI Yuta has become thin in the face. He might have dieted to play the role of Dracula. He deepens the story and plays very gorgeous role.
In this musical, all jokes are business of new DeathManecchars. So KASAHARA Ryuji has been fired. ^^;
DeathManecchars play fake Haruka and fake Michiru as is customary to make old fans laugh to tears.

Ryuji is putting his heart into berserker, the embodiment of evil. (Of course, he never take off his clothes. We can expect a burst of ad libs at the last stage very little.^^;)
When it is close to the end of the play, he wears clothes which seem too warm, barking more dreadfully than when he played Chaos, he swings a heavy long sword to whir, and runs around on the small stage of the Sunshine theater. This scene is peculiar to Ryuji. He fits his role so well that I wonder if this stage is produced for him. He is sweating from playing passionately. Is it only me who associate the patterns on the sheath of the sword (He told me it was "Sword of Semail". ^^;) which reminds us of blue veins and red arteries with visible blood vessels of his both arms built up? ^^;

WATANABE Teruyo (as Sailor Pluto) who is one of new faces doesn't stand out well though there are glorious lines of her at one scene. I feel it is a pity that her character isn't made full use of.
Yuta being transferred to the villain, Tuxedo Mask is free from King Endymion's unnecessary support and returns to the role of Usagi's lover and protecting Sailor Moon. So he is conspicuous on the stage. I think Hidemasa plays more glorious role of Tuxedo Mask than the 3rd or the 4th Tuxedo Mask.
But I feel his voice is little and lacks power at the duet of "Gondola no koibito-tachi" (Lovers on the gondola) and the solo of him. He may be tense with the first stage. With regard to thoughtfulness to Usagi and tenderness like Mamoru, he seems more tender and broad-minded than former Tuxedo Masks. I want him to learn to express power as well with every performance.
The scene he says "I'll become a mirror if I die." is really pathetic.

As for the villains, ladies of DeathNightmare are as voluptuous as ones in the musical of "SailorMoon S". It is needless to say about beauty and voluptuousness of KAWASAKI Miki (as DeathNightmare2, Le Fay). And ONO Kazuko (as DeathRamia) who is another lead villain attracts us with her skills in acting and her power which are worthy of the name of "the Shiki theatrical company" where she is from and with the beauty of her legs we glimpse sometimes. ^^;

At the end of the stage, Sailor Scouts beat the villains, and then the stage blacks out. We feel this musical is "To be continued." and that the summer musical is hopeful. I wonder if the Count of Dracula's daughter (or his wife) who didn't appear this time is the key person.

Oh, I forgot to write about New Year's calligraphic works. They were displayed at the side of the lobby as they had notified in the fan thanks event.
It was not competition between Sailor Pluto and Sailor Venus as the notice. Pieces by some of the cast were displayed. They had written unique words. (Reading carefully, they seemed to be spoiling the stage materials.)
"Kinga Shin'nen" (A happy New Year) by Bandai Live Office. "HI Fire Soul TAMASII" (FIRE Fire Soul SOUL) by Sailor Mars. "Kyuuketsu Baka Ichidai" (Blood-sucking foolish lifetime) by Dracula. "Kyou-Senshi" (Berserker) by KASAHARA Ryuji. "Kiyoku Tadashiku Hanayakani" (Purely Rightly and Brilliantly" by KANZAKI Jun. "Bi no Senshu?" (Senshu(?) of beauty) by INADA Nao. (She had written large characters in bold strokes. They were steady characters though they were written in kaisho. (Kaisho is similar to the printed form.) Did she say so on the stage!?) "Shinkai no houyou" (Embrace of deep ocean) by ASAMI Yuka. "Bara Ichi-rin" (Single Rose) maybe by EDO Hidemasa. "Otoko-michi" (A Man's Way) by TAKAGI Nao. "Hakui * *" (White coat * *) (I forget the last two characters.^^; It was a four-character word that was not clear in meaning.) by Sailor Pluto. "Desupee" (It was written in kanji.) maybe by DeathPee. "Oya-banare" (Independence from parental influence) by DeathP (DeathPii?). (It seemed she was an excellent penman though it was written in kaisho. Watching carefully, it said next to her name "the fifth dan in calligraphy".)

Jan 5th 15:00

The story was so interesting, and the ripe way Miyuki played Usagi was delightful. So my daughter and I wanted to watch the stage once more!! I could buy good seats and went to the theater suddenly.

It is already workday though it is during the winter vacation. So it is not so noisy as the first day in front of the theater. We can enter the theater and pass the goods counter smoothly.
The audience is mostly families with children. There are many children around our seats. My daughter is glad that she can see far into the stage.
Votive tablets limited to 1000 sheets are already running short. They seem to be sold out today or tomorrow.
I'm planning to visit Hikawa shrine once more. So I buy two votive tablets, one to dedicate to Hikawa shrine and one as memorial (as is customary^^;). My daughter wins a watch with a photo of Sailor Moon (The color of the band is yellow.) in the instant lottery when I buy the second. Is my prayer at Hikawa shrine answered by Rei^^;?

As for the stage, Miyuki plays Usagi in the ripe way as on the first stage, jokes of DeathManecchars are really cracking, and the other actors dance very smoothly. I enjoy the stage laughing at the same points as the first stage.
I've heard "Memorial Album of The Musical 8" every day since I bought it. I've got quite addicted to Miyuki's nasal voice in "FIRE", "An Evil Dream" and so on. I enjoy it with dances.
Count Dracula's heartrending sorrow comes across as I listen to "Dracul Hakushaku no kodoku" (Count Dracula's loneliness). I love this song sung by MOCHIZUKI Yuta and that scene.

This musical is based on "Sailor Moon S", so there are many good old scenes. Above all, early version of Sailor Moon's costume is fresh, bright and stands out. Of course, it seems to have been remade. Costumes of Super Sailor Moon or Eternal Sailor Moon were getting more and more brilliant, showier and showier. I feel the figure of Miyuki in early costume with very little glittering is really fresh. It reminds me of old costume of Anza.
I think this is the simplest and symbolic representation to show the growth of Sailor Moon's power and heart.

And I write about somethings I noticed at the first stage but forgot to write.
At the scene of the airport, names of airlines are funny. LofThansa, Casai Pacific, Uniited Air Lines, Amerigon Airlines, Continantaru Airlines, Kin'nikku and so on. Very funny.
Curtain call starts with DeathNightmare to the music of "FIRE". All actors are skilled as I expected, and their actions are splendid and delightful. Above all, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune stand out. One of them runs out of stage left, and the other of stage right. They pass each other, rush into the wings and one beckons the other. Sailor Uranus beckoned on the first stage, but Sailor Neptune does today. Do they do alternately?
Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury glare at each other belligerently, somehow. The next moment, Sailor Mars pretends to strike Sailor Mercury, and dusts off her on the shoulder. And Sailor Mercury taps Sailor Mars on the shoulder.
Sailor Moon pretends to arrange her disordered hair. And after that, she throws kisses all around the auditorium ardently. It is so arch greeting that I can't believe this is her first stage (though she was a little shy at the first day). It makes us smile.

The name of Count Dracula's daughter is "Bloody Danpier Dracul". He would have named his son "Bloody Kresnik Dracul" if he had one. I hear kresnik is a person who was born wearing white amnion. These are interesting materials which make us want to study about the legend of Dracula, the Middle Ages and so on, aren't they?

Jan 15th 15:00 (the 500th memorial performance)

Advertisements for the 500th memorial performance by Bandai were too effective as I had anticipated. The seat for this performance was very hard to get. This stage became more popular than the last stage. Cushion sittings appear even in the upstairs auditorium probably for the first time after the graduation performance of Anza's 1st stage. (But television auditorium is not installed.^^;) The theater is already full of fans' excitement and hope before the performance begins.
From No.5 to No.12 of Matsu-seki (Jump seats installed in the aisle behind the 12th row) are vacant. Just before the performance begins, today's invited guests of former cast enter led by HARA Fumina, and sit down there. I am in the 13th row, but at No.25 seat of the opposite side. So I can't recognize all of them, but I can do OYAMA Anza and ONO Hikari. (They say there were MORINO Ayako, NAKAYA Kanatsu, SAITO Rei and so on. I hear ONO Hikari had come to see the play the day before as well, and she had been in kimono.)

As for the stage, I can see all of the cast has got a lot of spunk because this is the 500th performance. The audience, especially those who are seated at the back of the left side react very well. They burst into laughter at joke scenes, so actors get in better and better condition. I hear there were some ad libs of DeathManecchars' jokes and so on the day before. But the stage is wind up by the spunk of the cast without ad libs. I can't help being devoted to the stage world and bursting into laughter at jokes I heard many times.
Most of the seats are occupied by grown-up fans in the ground floor of the auditorium (though there are a lot of children in the upstairs auditorium). So I thought most of them were repeat guests, but I wonder if a large part of the audience is those who see this stage for the first time aiming at this 500th memorial performance though it is more than ten days since the first day. I feel vividly that the audience and the stage are reacting on each other. The tense atmosphere is controlling the whole theater, and handclaps which occur whenever most of the seats are occupied by grown-up fans hardly occur. I can fully enjoy the story and the music.

Sense of unity of the stage and the audience is a part of the essence of Seramyu. But handclaps during the story goes sometimes break the sense. I think we had better not clap our hands but taste sound, music and songs during the performance. Isn't it better that we express our appreciation and support by clapping our hands as ardently as we can at the curtain call and encores of "La Soldier" etc after the curtainfall? (I also think we should be allowed to support the cast by clapping our hands when they seem to be in bad condition or we feel the stage is flagging.)

After the wonderful stage full of spunk, a double curtain call particular to the 500th memorial performance takes place. (There isn't one for the books until the second (special) curtain call. To stretch a point, Miyuki doesn't pretend to arrange her disordered hair, and she throws kisses more ardently than usual.)
"Solar Miracle Make Up" ends, the curtain falls temporarily, and then the curtain rises BGM of "Densetsu Seitan" (The birth of the legend) playing. 10 Scouts on active duty are standing in line and singing in many lines of pink spotlights.
SAITO Rei and KAWASAKI Mao appear from stage right, MORINO Ayako and HARA Fumina from stage left, and then OYAMA Anza from stage right. Thunders of applause and cheers arise.
Anza wears a black coat and jeans. Fumina wears a short-sleeved border T-shirt of yellow and black and black pants. Ayako wears a black sweater and a gray skirt. KAWASAKI Mao wears a pink coat and black pants. (You know, she has grown up.) SAITO Rei wears a lavender two-piece dress. (I wonder if she has considered the color. It's like her.)

Suddenly, music changes into "Chasin' After You". OKUYAMA Momoko and ONO Hikari appear in uniform of Three Lights! The atmosphere changes into that of Three Lights' recital in a twinkling.
Momoko wears an old version of Crossroads High School uniform of boy's. Hikari wears a new version which glitters. It seems they have rushed into borrowing the costumes. Momoko's uniform is baggy, and Hikari's is too short. Furthermore, Momoko wears Professor Tomoe's gray wig. ^^;
Both of them don't forget the old dance, and are in good condition. The audience answers them by clapping. DeathNightmare joins as backing dancers. When I'm fascinated by the dances, Berserk and Dracul appear pretending to play bass guitars made of corrugated cardboard. (The guitars seem to have been made in a hurry.) The atmosphere of the theater reaches the climax.

MOCHIZUKI Yuta makes a speech. "Sailor Moon Musical has just reached the 500th performance. I am grateful to you that this is nothing but the fruit of your eager support. 8 years. 250 days if we consider the performances two times a day. One year is 365 days, so we have performed five sevenths of one year....Oh, it isn't much^^;
I'm 32 years old now, so 8 years is one fourth. I have spent a quarter of my life on this stage. It is much. (laugh)
Let's try hard to celebrate the 10th anniversary the year after next. I'll try hard until the end too. Next is my wonderful old partner, OYAMA Anza!"

Anza "Congratulations on the 500th performance.
Whoever expected Seramyu to continue for such a long time when the first Musical was going on? (laugh) Please continue to support Seramyu warmly."

Fumina - the second Sailor Moon "I haven't seen you since the fan thanks event.....
500 times, it's a great number when we think about it. I was surprised that you were supporting SailorMoon though Anime had ended when I stood on the stage for the first time. I've already graduated, but I am honored to have played for two years.
If I can appear in Seramyu again, I want to play Serenity. I may have been rather childish (last time). I want to play as a grown-up woman (next time).
But I want to support Seramyu in the same way as you do from now on."

Ayako "I'm the first Sailor Mercury, MIZUNO Ami - MORINO Ayako..... Oh, I'm tense. I'm not good at speech like this, you know. (She isn't refined, as usual. ^^;)
Congratulations on the 500th memorial performance. Please try hard to continue Seramyu into 2001 with dreams, hopes and your power."

KAWASAKI Mao - the first Chibiusa "I was in the 2nd grade then, and I'm in the 7th grade now. (a stir among the audience) I want to continue growing with SailorMoon."

SAITO Rei - the second Sailor Pluto "Well, the 500th performance does not ring a bell...
A lot of people have been concerned with SailorMoon during this 7 years. Old members are all working hard though their jobs have changed. I hear one of them will get married next year. Keep order! (laugh)
I think I should go on trying hard. All who have been concerned with SailorMoon, let's go on encouraging each other to try hard." (clapping)

OKUYAMA Momoko - Yaten "I'm overwhelmed by your excitement, and my heart is pounding. So I call my partner."
ONO Hikari - Taiki "I'd rather have appeared in the 500th performance than have seen it. (laugh) You are isolated. (meaning Momoko)" Momoko "YOU are isolated." Hikari "I borrowed DeathManecchars' costume. It is too short.^^;" Momoko "Mine is baggy. In addition, I borrowed Professor Tomoe's (wig)." (laugh)
Hikari takes a stuffed toy Sailor Star Fighter out of somewhere, and says "Seiya is also here." (laugh) Momoko "He dosen't come if there is no reward." (laugh) They crack jokes one after another.

"Let's wind up with this gentleman"
KASAHARA Ryuji "Soaked with sweat, I'm Professor Tomoe, Undead Berserk - KASAHARA Ryuji. This is the 8th series, and I have appeared since the first series. But I went out to perfect my skill in the martial arts for about two years in mid career. I've been always the villain..., and I died so many times that I can say I'm Undead. (laugh)
I'm happy to appear in the 500th memorial performance in a good place of 2000.
Thanks to a lot of the staff behind the performance, we can stand on this stage. Please clap Mr. Kashikura (stage lighting) who has participated in all of the series. (clapping)
We have just taken only a step. I want to continue 1000 times or 2000 times."

At last, KANBE Miyuki - new Sailor Moon "Hearing my seniors' speeches, I decided to try harder and harder with enthusiasm. I want to shine more and more on this stage. Please support me." She speaks in a wheedling voice like in the fan thanks event.

At the end, "La Soldier" by all of the cast including the guests.
Choreography has changed from that of Anza's day. Anza and Ayako don't seem to be moving their arms nor legs well. But I feel it is very heart-warming. (To my surprise, KAWASAKI Mao keeps up with the dance. I wonder if she has seen it by video or something.)

With the BGM of "Solar Miracle Make Up", the curtain falls in thunders of applause.

Jan 17th 18:30 (the last stage)

Those who had expected the last stage like those of former SailorMoon musicals may have ended with imperfect combustion. There were few ad libs like the last stage.
DeathPaa's ad lib in which his hips were made good use of may have been the only ad lib which stirred the audience. They might have valued perfection of the stage as a commercial drama, or the cast might have put their hearts into the attraction of their performances on the stage. I think the story of this musical was suitable for grown-ups, and that the stage was fit for grown-ups' appreciation. (Don't tell me they gave all they could at the 500th memorial performance. ^^;)
But the last stage was not satisfactory to me, who had got the ticket expecting a storm of ad libs. Most of the grown-up fans seemed to think so. They clapped their hands with pause though they usually clap their hands lustily.

I cite some ad libs I remember.
Everybody comes to wake Usagi from her oversleeping. At the scene Minako falls down getting an electric shock by Makoto's lightning, Minako collapses onto Haruka's chest. Haruka holds Minako in her arms smiling wryly.
Chibiusa appears. At the scene Chibiusa and Mamoru grasp each other's both hands and turn around each other to a tune, their hands unclasp and Mamoru totters to fall on his rear end. (Oh. Isn't it an ad lib but an incident^^;) At the scene Minako thinks the letter Chibiusa has brought from the 30th century, which letter is a fake, might be written in invisible ink and brings a desktop stove, Rei and Minako warm their hands over the stove. They are hit on the heads by everybody.
Usagi and Mamoru have a date at Inujiri Park. At the scene Usagi presses Mamoru to kiss her saying that no one is watching them, Mamoru says, "Do you think so? I feel lots of people are watching us." Laughter arises anyway, but these are lines of Mamoru at SailorMoon S musical. (EDO Hidemasa isn't refined to the end.^^;)
At the scene of DeathManecchars' theme song, DeathPaa is already wearing the local ornament for act 2, and in addition, he is enthusiastic to wear a waistcloth of silver lame. He turns up it to show, and seems to have trouble to dance and fun. He swings his hips more passionately than usual, and causes laughter well.
DeathManecchars' joke feature is originally directed to excite DeathPii very much (too violently). So she can't be more excited than usual though this is the last stage, as is a pity. She can cause laughter well by criticizing someone in the Kansai dialect, so I want her to have been usually moderate and burst in this last stage. In fact, I feel her bawl is a wet blanket at the scene involved in the story if I consider this feature good.

It was a great pity there wasn't Ryuji's ad lib in which Yuta was involved, which scene is particular to the last stage of Seramyu and we had expected very much. Ryuji had said he would do his best to liven up the stage behind it. But many of you felt he had grown to be a great actor in his knight-errantry of two years, didn't you?
The role of Berserk was very important. Violent berserker near the end of the play was very powerful like Ryuji, and I think no one except him could play the role. But he often danced at the back of the stage though there were a good few scenes he danced powerfully. As a fan, I felt it was a great pity his character wasn't made full use of.
They say the story of the summer musical will be brandnew. I want not only Ryuji to act up fully as this time but also sincerely the staff to give him the role in which he can't help ad-libbing^^;, the direction under which he can show us his powerful sharp dances well and the opportunity to undress himself. ^^;

The performance itself went on in such a quiet way. But at the curtain call, the audience applauded more than usual to get rid of the pent-up feelings.
Though there wasn't noticeable difference from usual in the curtain call, DeathPaa was wearing the ornament everyone had become fond of, and Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, who usually rushed to pass each other, hugged each other in the center of the stage (They went on hugging for 2 or 3 seconds). They looked each other and smiled at each other, being relieved and nodding (to recognize each other).
Sailor Chibi-Moon threw a red rose to the auditorium, and Tuxedo Mask threw a yaffle of roses. Usagi threw kisses ardently as usual.

Miyuki says "Thank you, everyone." Miyuki and Ayano look each other in the eyes and nod to each other as if they were saying "We've done it! It has finished!"
When the curtain is falling, Yuta lifts Ayano up to his shoulder and Ryuji lifts Miyuki. The audience cheers.

Of course, handclaps calling for an encore don't stop though the curtain has fallen. The curtain is spotlit and rises again. 10 Scouts sing "Solar Miracle Make Up". All the villains appear in the middle of the song.
Miyuki is dancing steadily without collapsing in tears though her eyes are red. But Ayano is crying. (Of course, she is dancing steadily.) It is impressive Nao has a red face and wipes away her tears.

Ryuji makes a speech on behalf of the cast. "The performance, of which we celebrated the 500th memorial recently, has reached the 503th. We've already taken three steps. The summer musical has been already fixed as you know by the pamphlet. We'll tour across the nation though we can't say all parts of the country. Of course, there is the fan thanks event before the summer musical. The new cast and the new characters will be announced there. Please be hopeful.
There are tears in some actors' eyes. I hope we can send these tears to your hearts as gems."
I feel it is a wonderful dignified speech.

They sing "Solar Miracle Make Up" for one chorus again.
The memorial signboard comes down. They are reusing the 500th memorial signboard, but a sheet of paper written "Sensyuuraku" (The last stage) on is on the left end of it.
At the end, Miyuki makes a speech again. "Thank you for such a long support of yours. I have no words because I'm too excited. I'll try hard in summer with the brandnew story. See you at the Sunshine theater. Good-by!" (clapping)
Mr. Saeki (producer) appears from the wings with a bouquet. He hands it to Ayano, and the audience applauds more.
The curtain falls with "La Soldier".

The lights in the auditorium were about to go on when the curtain rose again because handclaps calling for an encore didn't stop. It seemed to be unexpected for the cast. They turned to the front or formed a line in a hurry.
"Um? Berserk is in hiding." Ryuji passed from stage right to stage left with quick steps hiding his body behind a black cloak. I think he had wanted to take off the too warm clothes as soon as he could and that he was already taking them off at the wings. I think it wasn't only me who would rather he had passed being naked to the waist. (^-^;)b
