About this Project

Shadowrun, the most popular cyberpunk(ish) RPG from FASA, is also famous for its excellent regional sourcebooks. Seattle, London, Tir Tairngir (Oregon), Tir Na nOg (Ireland), Germany, and Denver have been released. Among them, Germany Sourcebook is highly appreciated for its quality. There are also several sourcebooks announced to be out, including Aztlan (Mexico), the California Free States, Australia, France, and South Africa.

But now, you should have noticed an important fact. There is no Japan Sourcebook, nor its plan in the near future. Isn't it strange? The half of eight megacorps in 2056 are Japan origined. Punks use numerous slang borrowed from Japanese words. Though, we know very little about this mysterious nation.

That's why a pack of Shadowrun enthusiasists in Japan come togather to discuss what Japan in 2056 looks like. We are working for net.shadowrun.book.for.japan , and our output will be translated into English and publicized on this page one by one.

Feel free to drop your comment. What's kind of information about Japan you want? A new magic tradition for shinto? New mysterious physical adept powers? Cutting edge technology baled out from SONY labs? Maps of 2056 Tokyo? Gigantic government bureaucracy conspiring with megacorps, or devastating business wars between megacorps? Anarchic lawless cities, or a totalitarian state controling shaikujins strictly?
